I have the good fortune to be DJing the afterparty.

THIS IS IT! 🙌

Charité Records' new catchy track ‘I Wanna Dance’ featuring J.Fitz on vocals and remix by Roger Sanchez, is OFFICIALLY OUT.

This full-on dance cut follows my slinky hit ‘Coffee In the Morning’, Charité’s debut release which hit number 13 in Music Week’s Club Charts. 100% of label proceeds go to Friends of the Children-Seattle, one of 25 Friends of the Children chapters spanning the US and UK, to provide long-term, professional mentors to help young people from disadvantaged backgrounds.

The original version ‘I Wanna Dance’ has a fast beat, sexy bass, and funky piano to remind us we ‘haven’t danced in a long time’ and now we wanna. The vocals, strong throughout the track, add an even more summery vibe to this post-Covid call to dancefloor action. The Dub version plays the bass riff with chords, introducing breakdowns to emphasise the vocals even more.

The Roger Sanchez Remix goes for a more Latin-American feel, with more layered percussion, the bass brought forward, and the vocals, indeed the song, highlighted. Let joy and raving be unconfined – summer is here!

I did not expect to have the first song released on Charité Records to be in the same UK Pop Chart with David Guetta, Swedish House Mafia, Camila Cabello, Ed Sheeran, and many other amazing artists.

Coffee in the Morning is a super catchy song with an awesome nu-disco vibe and a good cause.

The label behind it - Charité Records - will pass on all profits from this song to “Friends of the Children,” a US-based charity that funds 12 years of mentorship to young people from minority backgrounds across the US and UK. This charity is also supported by the likes of Michael Jordon, Russell Wilson and many others.

CEO by Day, DJ by Night

Marc Rousso isn’t your ordinary DJ. Like the Bruce Wayne (Batman) of the music world, he’s an inconspicuous music enthusiast by day, geared up in a suit and tie as the CEO of a Seattle homebuilding company. However, by night he sheds the attire of corporate America and steps fully into the rhythm of his first and eternal love - music.

His DJ career started in the early 90’s, appearing at hundreds of parties and clubs. After a 20+ year hiatus, he’s returned to embrace his passion. Rousso calls his signature style, “ClubHouseFunk.” It’s inspired by Classic House, Original Funk, combined with today’s Jackin’ House. He draws inspiration from house music legends Erick Morillo, Roger Sanchez, Purple Disco Machine, Ferreck Dawn and Robosonic.

Marc’s breakout song “I Want to Thank You” with Adri Block hit #1 House and #2 Top 100 on Traxsource. This summer he is set to release others including the remake of Stevie Wonder’s classic “All I Do” featuring Carter Brown and the much anticipated “Don’t Give Up” a Luca Devonaire Clubmix.

DJing is about connecting through the emotion of music and creating a community. Music reminds us of times, people, and places. Rousso is all about unifying the crowd through a love of music.
