We made it through our first Valentine’s & Galentine’s Day at the shop, and it was a wild ride!

A huge shoutout to my amazing team! They absolutely crushed it, and I’m so grateful for each of them.

We also had such an incredible turnout for our Galentine’s event! It was heartwarming to see so many of you celebrating friendship and love with us. Thank you for making it so special. We are already jotting down ideas to make this event better 🩷

I know the world feels like it’s both literally and figuratively on fire right now, and marketing Valentine’s gifts and flowers feels trivial—that’s not lost on me. But this is how I help to support my family and our community, and honestly, I think we could all use a little more sunshine and flowers these days.

With that in mind, Valentine’s Day is next week! When ordering flowers, please go directly to your local florist—not through companies like Ava’s Flowers, 1-800-Flowers, FTD, or Blossom Flower Delivery, etc. These are order gatherers that take your order, skim 30-50% off the top, and then pass it to a local florist—often leaving you with less than what you paid for. A good rule of thumb: if a flower website doesn’t have an "About" section with a real person and a real story, it’s probably an order gatherer. Go directly to your local bloom dealers!
