Gosh we live in an amazing part of the world. This gorgeous spot is right on our doorstep. A get away close enough we can still pop back home to check the animals and property

Peek-a-boo!

Please prepare for plenty of sheep spam to follow as we couldn't resist the opportunity to start breeding these cuties on the farm. As well as re-attempting our cut flower garden.

I'll let these girls grow out in the fields of clover and they will join the breeding program in 2026 🍀

We have done a bit of a garden plot move since I've arisen from my hiatus. I'm ready to start planning and planting for the months ahead.

As quickly as they came in, out they go again thanks to the warm week we've just had. Ranunculus... can grow it, would grow it again but go for Italian varieties next time for more ruffles and better form.

And theres that sunset we have been missing 💛

Ive missed the spring harvest (not that we really had a spring) and now g
etting into my seed collecting for next season's hardy annuals. I really struggled to find seed to purchase of this variety,so im glad some of the plants took so I can stock up for next season👏

We've been growing our own roots amongst our many other projects this year.

Introducing our little man Reggie. Embracing every moment as a family of four and feeling so blessed 🥰

Back to the garden shortly, the dahlias are coming along amazingly xx

Sorry I’ve been a little quiet on the socials…. We are eagerly awaiting spring blooms here but for the meantime we are enjoying welcoming the new babies to the farm. We have had 3 sets of twin lambs over the past few days and they are so very bouncy and cute 🥰

Happiness is… when the tiniest snapdragon seeds have a 100% germination rate 😍 I’m really pleased with the results I’m getting using coco coir as my seedling growing medium this autumn. Economical, sustainable and retains moisture for alot longer than anything else I’ve tried 👌🌸

The dahlias blooming in the garden have got me like 😍😍😍

I think all of the stars have aligned and these beauties are passing the test at day 3 in the vase (I didn’t condition these in boiling water this time) Fingers crossed for a few more days and I will be closer to my growing goal for my dahlias🤞🌸

I think the garden has been enjoying the cooler weather and a bit of rain.
A lot of spent blooms cut today straight to the compost heap, to make way for the new bloom babies coming through 🌸

Mr Buzz wasn’t too happy with me taking these flowers this morning 🐝

It’s finally looking like our summer flowers are starting to take off…. In autumn haha. After an infestation of mites, lots of dry hot easterly winds, too much sun and no rain I’m now believing I might get some flowers once again.

I’m now armed to do summer so much better next season. Gardening… it’s a journey, and I’m here for the ride 🌸
