Dark Heaven is claimed to be Chicago's most exciting new label by 5 Magazine! I did not expect this when I sent them my EP a few months ago, hoping to get a review out of the effort. It's super exciting to have a feature in their most recent, 212th edition :) Thanks 5 Mag!

We have a lot of demos in the vault. 4 EPs from different artists on the way and a 2nd VA compilation too. Dark Heaven and Sanctum are teaming up! From the mind of this compelling concept & theme is in celebration of International Women’s Day. Prepare for a heavy-hitting all-femme lineup for this multi-level event complete with two incredible hosts who will undoubtedly leave you in awe and appreciation of the raw power found in women everywhere.

The theme and name for this event is Sacred & Obscene. Historically, society at large has reduced women into this dichotomy - either a precious, virginal, sacred Madonna & mother - or, a l***y, hypersexualized v***n, or w***e - when in reality, women embody both of these elements at one point or another, falling anywhere in between on this complex spectrum.

For this event, we invite you to explore this duality within yourself and exhibit your expression of it via dress. Will you be sacred? Or obscene? Or perhaps, somewhere in between? This will be a safe space so feel free to express yourself!

The event space is grandiose and lavish, quite unique and certainly not to be missed. This will be the first event that Sanctum or Dark Heaven has ever hosted in this space, so be sure to come early and explore. Check out some of our lovely vendors and grab a taco. Videowaste will be transforming the space with their one-of-a-kind visuals and installation.

Everyone is welcome at this event. If you respect and love women, we want you there!

On the music front, the founders of Dark Heaven and are bringing down one of their favorite Chicago artists and they’ve recruited local ass shaking enablers and to bang the box all night along. What’s the vibe you’re wondering? Techno, electro, breaks, ghetto tech, jungle, b***ycore, and all underground electronic sounds that reportedly make that ass shake 🫨

Incredibly significant to the environment will be the visuals that brings to the stage. Tall stacks of CRT TVs — this will be retro, nostalgic, and for some of you something you’ve never seen before! 📺

Wow y’all! First time having a live band at one of our events (including both and ) as well as was a hell of a success! We are still buzzing from the wholesome, intimate, uplifting good energy that everyone brought to share with us for the special occasion of ‘s debut EP release party! The band mf killed it. If you were there, you know. If you weren’t there, well… you missed out, but don’t worry, we’ll do it again 😏
