And just like that the flowers are gone. This week I’ve cleared my beds and have dug my dahlias up. I was determined to get it done before it got too cold 🥶
The plan now is to cover the beds over winter, and mulch early spring before planting out. Growers, how do you over winter your beds?

A few of my new dahlia favourites. Always on the lookout for new dahlias, what are your favourites?
This weekend is Stacey and Craig’s wedding, and I am delighted to be doing their flowers.
A sneaky peak of the flowers which are now resting and enjoying a nice long drink in my flower shed, before their big day!
Can’t wait to share more with you after the wedding.

Wishing you a happy bank holiday, and hoping you are enjoying the sunshine.
After working outside this morning, I’m now going to search out a shady spot and have a chill! Hoping you are doing what makes you happy today. x

With the recent spell of cold nights, some of my seedlings are waiting just a bit longer to be planted out. And so, the hardening off continues. Each morning I take my seedlings out of the greenhouse, into the big wide world, and each evening I bring them back in again. It’s really fun!! 🤣

After the cold spell, great to be back out in the greenhouse today. Top of my ‘to do’ list was to get my Anemones and Ranunculus planted out into a small bed in my greenhouse.
