Vintage Looking Magic Case:

The case simply slots over the mounting bolt and turns 6 or 7 times to lock in position. The tripod comes with a carrying strap, so you can have the folded tripod over your shoulder, case in hand, and a free hand to wave, gesture or whatever mobile, one handed tricks you can manage. Set up takes seconds.

Both case and table/drawer are wood, hand finished and trimmed, so whilst very attractive, are not factory fabrication, uniform finish, which varies from case to case. The boxes used as the start point are commercially produced, glued mortise and tenon, so square and robust. I have reinforced the corners with glued and clamped posts just in case. The box base has an added layer of re-enforcing ply glued in for stability, and the steel plate used for the inside fixing is 3mm.

The case and table/drawer are finished in quality external stain and silk polyurethane, so water resistant (so it says on the tin). The case interior and tabletops are covered with black felt.

The case base is deep enough for a boxed pack of cards stacked sideways.

The table has plunger pins in the frame that lock into reinforced slots in the drawer when closed, so it can be carried as a case by the handle. The table flap is held by self-supporting hinges.

The stand is a speaker tripod and flat top hat mounting plate which are 50kg rated. I wouldn’t try 50kg in the wooden case though! The stand extends from 530mm to 900mm in height.

Dimensions:
Case: (LxWxD), ext 350x248x100mm, int 332x232x60mm(plus 27 in lid).
Table/Drawer: (LxWxD), ext 350x248x93mm. Table folds out to 500x350mm. Drawer internal is 233x160x31mm.

(The products in future will be 365x262x105, and the drawer unit will have a 40mm deep drawer with internal of 247x230x38mm, £150 incl p&p for the Case and £170 incl p&p for the Table/Drawer).
