Had the pleasure to design a wristlet for a lovely young lady this past weekend for her fall prom!
Her “Bridgerton” inspired dress was gorgeous!

I used a combination of muted lavender spray roses, cream anemones with a muted lavender center & accents of Lilly of the Valley for a vintage look to complement her dress.
I loved the details of the floral pattern, it was a welcome departure from all the sequin & rhinestones traditionally used for prom dresses.

Let’s take a moment for the men….. I love to create little collections of texture, color & beauty in my boutonnières. Many times overlooked in wedding flowers, I really love to give the guys their moment!

Although the calendar says that Fall has just started, the life of a floral designer requires that I’m always looking ahead to the next season. So…..IT’S THAT TIME AGAIN!!!

This is to anyone I did Christmas pots for last year & anyone who would like them done this year….
I’m getting my order ready for a Sept. 30th deadline. 😊 please let me know if you’re interested & what all you’d like done.
They will be filled with mixed evergreens, pine cones, red winterberry, birch poles, mini evergreen tree toppers etc.
you can choose all of those items or any combination of them. Also large ornaments or any items you have can be incorporated too! I look forward to designing for you!

Just a reminder as we get closer to transforming your summer pots to Christmas pots…… if you see that the temps are dipping & I’m scheduled come do yours, please pull them inside your garage so the soil doesn’t freeze. If the soil freezes, I will not be able to get yours done & this will delay getting your pot pretty & will also cause glitches in my schedule. I only have a short 2 weeks to get them all done & there are a lot!!

And that’s a wrap!
After 63 patio pots, 3 window boxes, an in home decorating job & the 2 containers inside Fika in the last 2.5 weeks, I finished up today!

If you’re on my list to be done, check your pots to see if the soil is frozen. If it is, it would be helpful if you can set them in a garage or shed to thaw out. Otherwise I won’t be able to put them together.

When you’re asked to create something “tropical” on short notice & you live in land locked Indiana…..
Challenge accepted!!

Sometimes you have to buy an entire monestera plant just to use the leaves, mix those with non tropical flowers, add some orchids & protea & viola……
