The sun is shining and I can wait to get flowering.
It wasn’t always like this, I did a whole host of jobs before I found my passion and became a florist.
All I knew is that sitting in an office was not for me! I worked for a whole host of different florists before I decided to brave it and go it alone.

It’s been crazy full year in lockdown and it’s a good time to remember.
Remember those who have lost their lives
Remember those who have served their community
Remember the NHS
Remember the emergency services as a whole
Remember the bad times and the good
You have done it and survived.
The first step is always the hardest.
I often think of this when I start something new or take on some work and I have know idea how im going to pull it off.

Anyone having a spring clean? I am!
I have spent all the last week cleaning my studio and doing a stock take. We have lots to get rid off and even managed to buy a few new items 🙈
We have restyled and made a lovely consultation area. I cannot wait to open our studio again let alone getting back to weddings.

I spotted this on another group earlier today and nothing has resonated more with me all day.
I was so scared and fearful when I started my business. I honestly didn’t have any self worth and constantly had imposter syndrome!!
I walked into my fears and literally became fearless in business.
I made a list of pros and cons and let me tell you the pros outweighed the cons tenfold!!!
Be fearless! Honestly you will never please everyone so stop trying!!!

I know what it feels like during the busy periods in the floristry industry.
I was burnt out sometimes, thinking I can do it all myself, well it wasn’t until I got some help that I realised I didn’t need or want to do every aspect of my business.
I’m looking into this more all this week over in the L&W Floral Lab Facebook group.

Hello, fabulous florists.
I know you may be incredibly busy with Mother’s Day coming up but it’s important to remember self care and putting yourself first.
I have had a day to treat myself as it’s my birthday!!! I was so excited to spend the day with my family and have a bit of self care and relaxation. I’ve been at burnout before and never want to return.
Make sure to take time to look after number one. If you aren’t working then neither is your business.
