"আমাদের গেছে যেদিন, একেবারেই কি গেছে?
কিছুই কি নেই বাকি?"

সেই ছেলেটিকে খুব মিস করি, যে ফিজিক্স ক্লাসের মাঝে আনমনা হয়ে যেত। নিউটনের গতিসুত্র আর আনবিক তেজস্ক্রিয়তার সূত্রের মাঝে হিজি-বিজি লিখে ফেলত "হাইড্রোজেন বোমা বোঝো, মানুষ বোঝো না?" বা সেই মেয়েটা, উচ্চমাধ্যমিক পরীক্ষার চাপ মাথায় নিয়েও কোনো এক ক্লান্ত ফাল্গুনের বিকেলে অনায়াসে গলা মেলাত দূরে গাছের ডালে বসে থাকা কোনো এক কোকিলের সুরে। আর সেই মাথা ভর্তি ঝাঁকড়া চুল ওয়ালা ছেলেটার কী খবর, যে বিকেল হতে না হতেই ফুটবল খেলতে ছুটতো?

এমনই হাজার হাজার ইচ্ছে-কুঁড়ি, যারা ফুল হয়ে ফুটবার অপেক্ষায় রাত জেগে গুনছে প্রহর..
ঘুচে যাক আঁধার, নেমে আসুক ভোর..
বসন্তের এই মাতাল হাওয়ায়, প্রতীক্ষার অবসানে..
