2023 INTRACOASTAL CHRISTMAS REGATTA
360 Hover Pixels would like to express our sincere gratitude for the incredible opportunity to contribute to an event that will be remembered for years to come. The Intracoastal Christmas Regatta transcends being just a boat parade; it serves as a catalyst for meaningful impact within the community. Through various fundraising activities and toy drives, this event has touched the lives of countless children throughout Horry County who may otherwise slip through the cracks of conventional assistance programs.
The dedicated committee members work closely with school counselors to identify and address the needs of children within their respective schools. Additionally, the generosity of individuals and businesses who donate cash and new, unwrapped toys each year ensures that the committee, known as Santaโs Angels, can fulfill its mission of providing every child with a gift to unwrap on Christmas morning.
It's heartwarming to see that the event extends its support to our four-legged friends as well. The initiative to collect pet food and supplies for local humane societies has made a significant difference in the lives of animals in need. The proceeds from the sale of commemorative medallions, sweatshirts, and long-sleeved t-shirts are the lifeblood of the Intracoastal Christmas Regatta Committee, enabling them to continue their impactful work.
Each year, the parade, always scheduled for the Saturday after Thanksgiving, brings joy and excitement as it unfolds at dusk. Spectators can witness the spectacle from any vantage point along the waterway between Little River and Boardwalk Billy's in North Myrtle Beach. It's a wonderful occasion that brings the community together and spreads warmth and cheer during the holiday season.
Once again, 360 Hover Pixels extends our deepest appreciation to for allowing me to be a part of this meaningful event, and I am humbled by the opportunity to contribute to the creation of cherished memories for so many people.
