Kuumoja is a member of the Funny Kreaturz Dj/Producers collective from Montreal, Canada and co-founder of Tribez Asia movement in Taiwan.

From the dynamic and bursting music scene of his hometown Montreal Canada to the far east side of the globe in Shanghai, Bali, Singapore and Taiwan, Kuumoja has been pushing the beautiful music from the African Diaspora through Djing and organizing events for over 15 years. He was part of Shanghai’s first Reggae Sound System ''The Uprooted Sunshine’’ and together with Funny Kreaturz crew, he was featured multiple times at Disko Afrika Bali, one of the best events in Asia showcasing music from the motherland Africa.

Kuumoja is known to bring a unique atmosphere and energy during his performance by merging the mystical vibe of Tribal music with the dynamic energy of African rhythms and melodies; blending the percussive and organic sound of the drums with electronic and modern fusions.
