I have finally managed to take a picture of one of my favourite keepers from one of our seasonal gatherings. You never know what will turn up but there is always something magical. Our Little events are huge on quality and beautiful rustic and decorative treasures at every turn. The count down is on to our Autumn collection.

We organise beautiful shopping experiences throughout the year in Yorkshire. Our events specialise in decorative antiques, rustic interiors, ancient textiles, timeworn & weathered brocante, quality artisans, seasonal floristry & more. Established by Paula at Little English House in 2013 and rapidly grown into the event for lovers of weathered and worn interiors. It is the event that we can't wait to visit.

Counting down to The Rustic & Country Lifestyle Event on the 23rd March at The Shire Hall, Howden, DN14 7BJ. I'm hoping that my homegrown tulips will be ready in time. The wreaths are being spun along with other floral loveliness for Little English House WINTER FAIR THIS SUNDAY 26th November. 10 am until 3 pm
Utterly over the moon that our little event is featured in Reclaim Mag this month. I actually did a very large happy dance when I got the email message from journalist Alice Roberton to describe what we do and send some images to best capture the essence of our events. I think my little English Houses, which are actually period boxes illustrated by a very talented friend more than met the brief along with ancient china a glass baubles. We specialise in everything beautiful for the home and I honestly cant wait for Sunday to arrive so that we can set up our shop for the day. I hope you can join us. I am so proud of all our exhibitors and the hard graft and love that has been poured into the events for the last ten years. See you on Sunday xx
This Saturday lovely people. Two rooms full of gorgeous trove and decorative interiors. Wreaths and dried flowers will be available on my little stall along with rustic finds. I really can't wait.

Gearing up to plant my bulbs for next year. A beautiful distraction and something to look forward to during our darkest months. I'm also thinking about the festive foliage and looking forward to sinking my hands into fluffy albeit cold and wet moss.

It's tomorrow lovely people. An opportunity to shop rustic, decorative antiques, find that one off item that you can't leave without. Something to bring character into your home, a talking point, or find some lovely homespun gifts that have been made with love. An opportunity to support small businesses in a warm and friendly environment and we also have cake available. Howden is a pretty town with cobbled streets, amazing architecture, beautiful minster that you can mooch around and independent shops. A cracking day out.

What an amazing queen, selfless and dutiful to the very end. A flawless example of human kind. Having always been there in our lives it is impossible not to have fallen in love with this beautiful lady. Rest peacefully Majesty. Thank you for everything.
I knew my dried alliums would come in useful one day. I loved combining fresh roses with a selection of my dried foliage and seed heads. The arrangement was made for a special birthday celebration and the roses will dry beautifully to create a a forever arrangement for the family, just as the family wished.
Busy day at the farmers market selling beautiful locally sourced tulips. My own tulips are lagging behind and hopefully they will be ready for my next market.
