Flowers by Claire has had to cancel tomorrow's Christmas workshop which would have been held at the Buarth Hall on Stanley Road. This is due to the storm. I'm hoping that I have contacted everyone who had booked a place.

I have already started taking Christmas orders for door and grave wreaths. This is an image is of one of my natural door wreaths on an 18 inch mossed frame which is made up with a selection of evergreens, thistles, walnuts, cinnamon, nutmeg and Scented pine cones. Larger door wreaths will be available. Also taking orders for table arrangements and luxury Christmas bouquets. Delivery will be available in the Aberystwyth area or collection from Poplar Row Aberystwyth.

Had my little helper, Freyja, in the workshop on Saturday. It was great watching her being creative, with some leftover stems and some blocks of oasis. Fresh flowers arriving Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday orders being taken. The £10 bags of flowers have been very popular. I will have more of these available this week.

One of my large living wreaths that has been planted up with a mix of different Heather's,Cyclamen,Primroses, Ivy, and Mint. And inside the moss base, a selection of bulbs will pop up next spring. Snowdrops and Daffodils. This wreath will be placed onto a gentleman's grave who recently passed away. This wreath is 18 inches. I will be making up smaller ones for placing on graves for Christmas.

What a beautiful day blue skies over Aberystwyth and the surrounding area. Had some collections this morning. A few deliveries.Then this afternoon, went with little Freyja to the woods, hoping to find some acorns.The £10 bags of flowers have been popular this week. I will have more available on Tuesday as I have fresh flowers arriving. If anyone would like to order, please either message me or email [email protected] or go to my web page. I am really pleased that both festive workshops are fully booked. Also, this week, I have had another two couples book me for their 2025 weddings, which is great. I still have dates available for 2025. I'm happy to prepare flowers for small ceremonies and for bigger venues and Flowers by Claire will travel out of the Aberystwyth area to decorate your chosen venue.
This last week was busy as I had a lot of funeral work. Flowers by Claire offer a service to families where I will go and collect the flowers after the service and put the stems into small bunches. These are then taken to the family, and they can distribute between friends and family. I'm going to be updating my website soon, and featured on it will be images of my eco-friendly funeral work along with casket sprays,wreaths, and other arrangements that are available. Flowers by Claire is not a shop. I have a workshop in our yard next to my home on Poplar Row.I do not have set opening times when I'm in there working and the large gates are open I'm more than happy for people to pop in and either place an order or pick up an instant bouquet or let me make one up whilst they wait. I'm happy to sell just a single stem if that's all is needed. If the large gates are closed, my contact details are on the signs on the gate.

I still have a few spaces available for flowers by Claire festive wreath workshops being held at the Buarth Hall in Aberystwyth. The first one is on the 30th of November, and the second one will be on the 7th of December. You will get to create a beautiful fragrant door wreath made up with a selection of evergreens and herbs and then decorate with a selection of dried fruits and spices and finish with a festive bow. There will be festive refreshments and also a raffle to win a festive table arrangement . Last year's workshops were very enjoyable, and I had lovely feedback from all who attended. I only have a few spaces left, and the last day for securing a space is on Friday. To book your spot, you can email [email protected] .

Freshly made up this morning, this very fragrant autumnal wreath made up on a mossed 16-inch ring. Made up with assorted greenery, which includes bay leaf and lavender and dried pumpkins. This wreath has had wreath wrap applied to the back to prevent damage to the surface it is placed on. Only one of these available, but I am taking orders for autumnal wreaths. I have flowers available today in the workshop on Poplar Row.
