In this piece, three air plants are combined with wood to create a one-of-a-kind display. These are indoor plants on a piece of real wood. The wood piece is about 12" long. Price is $30.
Air plants are ideal for anyone who enjoys plants but doesn't have a green thumb. They only need to be soaked in water every week to ten days. The plants, which are not permanently attached to the wood piece and not planted in soil, can be lifted off and can be easily replaced if needed.

This Juniper table top tree has an interesting twisting stem and branch form. It is reminiscent of a natural tree growing on a rocky outcrop.

This tree has sold.
It seems once or twice a year I find an interesting piece of wood that I collect even though I don't immediately see a way to use it with a bonsai.
This is one of those pieces of wood.
The breakthrough moment for the bonsai was when I turned the piece upside down and saw that it was able to sit on the old branch hole and stay very well balanced. I'd just picked up some indoor juniper trees with nice draping shapes and when I put the two together, the tree and wood seemed to work together. The piece is finished with a carpet of moss to carry on with the emulation of a tree on an island.
So, here it is. The piece of wood reminds me a bit of a flowerpot rock formation, one of which is located near Flowerpot Island in Georgian Bay.
This piece is for sale. Asking $70.

This tabletop cedar is planted in a bark container and sits on a wood disc.
It is next to a unique wood piece with very unique wavy grain.
A rock with interesting textures complements the tree and wood piece.
Together they give the appearance of a mature tree growing next to a cliff face.
This piece is for sale for $55.

Tabletop Juniper tree
This interesting juniper is reminiscent of an ancient tree growing on an exposed rocky hill. The wood slab is about 14 inches long and the tree is slightly longer.
Price: $40

This tree still has branch training wires attached - these can either be removed by the new owner or returned and they will be removed for you in about 6-8 weeks time.
This is an outdoor tree that can be brought indoors for a few days to a week for display purposes.
It should be watered as needed as well as a weak balanced fertilizer application every 3-4 weeks.
The tree can be lightly pruned using scissors to maintain its current shape or can be allowed to grow and developed into a new shape, if desired.
This tree should be overwintered outdoors to allow the natural dormancy cycle to be completed.
