As couples begin to grapple with all that they’ve lost there is going to be a need to match couples up with vendors who can provide free/low cost services to help them re-plan their wedding. Many of these couples have lost everything and for those who lost their venue, they may have lost most of their wedding budget in the process if they didn’t have wedding insurance.

If you are a wedding vendor (anywhere in the world) and would like to be added to our confidential wedding vendor collaborative list, please DM us with the services you’re offering, your email and website and we will follow up directly with you.

There is so much goodness in this world and I’m so grateful for this vendor community who is always willing to mobilize and support those in need.

The heartbreak of this week has been overwhelming seeing what’s unfolded only 100 miles away from San Diego. Our hearts are broken for the devastation being experienced by all of those in Southern California that have been impacted by the fires.

We’ve been trying to figure out what our company can do to support in a tangible way that is meaningful and respectful to those impacted. As such, we would like to offer our wedding consultation services at no charge to help couples trying to pickup the pieces and figure out what’s next.

Some couples experienced their wedding venues burning down, some brides lost all of their decor and dress when they lost their homes, and others have lost their jobs because of the fire and don’t know what to do next.

We will work with each couple to complete an intake and then help you out the pieces back together to get you down the aisle.

Our hearts go out to you all. If you need our support we will walk this journey with you side-by-side and rally our entire wedding vendor community to help bring a glimmer of joy back to your life amidst the devastation.

We are also extending our services to support first responder couples who had to delay wedding plans due to being deployed to fight the Southern California fires.

As I reflect on another incredible year with KSD, I am filled with gratitude for the amazing couples I’ve had the honor of working with in 2024. 💍✹ 

From intimate ceremonies to grand celebrations all across California and the world, each wedding was a unique journey that allowed KSD to bring dreams to life with personalized touches and unforgettable details. 

I am SO thankful for the trust and love my couples have shown me and for the opportunity to be a part of their special moments. 

As I look ahead to 2025, I’m excited to continue creating magic and celebrating love in all its forms.

Your wedding day is a beautiful celebration and an epic party to bring together two families, but a big part of wedding planning is helping my clients stay grounded in the purpose for the celebration, their love for each other and the vows they are making.

Nov. 20th marks four years since my honey and I said I Do in the middle of a global pandemic. Our wedding planning journey was challenging due to so many unknown factors but one thing that endured the test of time is our commitment to each other.

This year has put our vows to the test, we vowed to love each other “in sickness and in health” and we had to walk that journey out over the past five months. Many people don’t know that my husband had multiple surgeries for cancer removal less than two months ago and thankfully he now has a clean bill of health.

This year on our anniversary I am incredibly thankful for my partner and best friend. He is the one I am most excited to see first thing in the morning, who I call to share all of my crazy stories with, and the one who I like to binge watch Netflix and eat popcorn and ice cream with on the couch. It is our love story that inspires me for each wedding, and my hope for each couple to experience what we have, which is a partnership with your best friend who will put in the work every day.

To my best friend thank you for walking through the past four years with me, cheers to us for a million more.
