Content Creators and Photographers Here is why I’ve never had an issue…..
Working as a content creator alongside Photographers
I’ve been in the wedding industry since 2015, I understand how weddings work.
When I started wedding coordination I automatically recorded moments and photos on my phone. Often capturing footage whilst the photographer is elsewhere. As part of my role for the day I do the following:
📌 I’m there before the photographer
📌 Liaise with all suppliers regarding timings of the day
📌 Ensure the dress is perfect for the photographer’s shots
📌 Gather guests for shot lists
📌 Take images of photographer working for their portfolio
📌 Never get in their way, always being mindful of positioning - NEVER IN FRONT OF THEM
📌 I capture live moments, snippets of the day, and can honestly say all photographers so far have never felt I was a problem, in fact I’ve looked after them with logistics, food and drink! They say I’m a great help.
I’m not sure why some photographers are refusing to work with content creators. If the couple have booked suppliers it’s because that’s what they want for their day. Can you imagine if I said I’m not working if you have a venue coordinator. Everyone has their part to play, teamwork is key.
It is not your day.
