Fun fact: I am originally from PA not Charleston. Winters there were, in my humble opinion, kind of the worst. So grey ☁️ and dreary and never ending. I love the winter time here in Charleston. Mild with plenty of sunshine is my jam.

One thing is for sure though -- whether it be up north or down south one of my FAVORITE days of the year is when day light saving starts again. You guys... I just looked at my calendar and we are less than two weeks away from longer nights!!!

Cheers to getting in more evening beach walks in the near future and wedding season being just around the corner. 🥂

Jumping for joy over here because the sun 🌞 finally came back out today! I don't know if it's possible to get seasonal depression after three gloomy days but it sure felt like it 🙁. Thankful for the sun being the literal bright spot in my day today... now if we could just work on some warmer weather! Baby steps....

Y'all today is national 🥛 day. It is a good reminder for me personally to check in on my resolution to not sweat the small stuff this year (trying hard!).

From a planning perspective it's a great reminder to all my couples as well. Please, no stressing about the little stuff on your big day!! After all -- a little rain makes for beautiful pictures, timeline delays force you to pause and reflect on the moment you are in and even unruly guests make for great stories later. Heres to letting the little things go!
