So I think we can all agree that COVID is the of the century 🤪 (... among other things)
While I got some “work” in this week, this weekend was going to be the start of my project with ✨ I’m bummed sure, but clearly Mother Nature has other plans right now and it is our job to LISTEN. Sending love to all the couples who have dealt with this pesky non-invited guest, the couples who are in the thick of it, and the couples who are just unsure 🤍

I got to sink into my creativity today with an awesome (small) vendor team and my heart is runneth over
I’m all for this new narrative of not being defined just by our roles or what we do for a living: Wife, Daughter, Wedding Planner ... but dang (!) it did feel good to work today and to be in my element 👊🏻

It was a hot and humid Redondo Beach Summer day, but you honestly didn’t feel it ... between the love that you were witnessing coupled with the sea breeze drifting in during ceremony, the heat was the last thing on your mind!🌻

was established by .cargle in response to her widely successful birthday wish fundraiser, Therapy for Black Women and Girls. Black women and girls deserve access to healing, and that healing will impact generations. The Loveland Foundation is the official continuation of this effort.
was founded by and is a social startup that merges data and heart to develop innovative programs and initiatives that empower Black and Latinx woman entrepreneurs. Creating a world where ALL women own their work.
will be making a monthly donation to each of these amazing causes, with the goal to add more organizations by the end of 2020 - beginning of 2021. This is only the beginning and only the start to my personal Call to Action Plan. I call you all in to keep me accountable.
Saying and “knowing” that you are not racist is NOT enough! Frankly, it is so incredibly layered. Once you start educating yourself, you realize, sh*t I am IN this system. Breathe. Educate. PUT IN THE EFFORT.

We have to be held accountable for what is happening in this country. The work, the understanding, the equity, the allies needed have ALWAYS been there. It is time to walk the walk and actually DO THE WORK 💥
Stop being silent on these issues. Seek out information and resources (I have personally ordered a number of books). Listen and meet in the pain of what is going on.
As my strong, beautiful, and oh so wise friend says: “You have to start to get comfortable with being uncomfortable - it’s how you grow” 🌱
