Fellow Ghanaians, I appeal to you. Let's protect the uniqueness of our traditional Ghanaian values and resist bullying in any form that seeks to pollute our sacred culture that was handed down to us by our ancestors. Our cultural systems between the 14th and the 20th centuries have been twisted and practically destroyed by foreign infiltrations through slavery, colonialism, neo-colonialism, capitalism, socialism communism and the various 'isms' that have all subjected us as a people to the control of the infiltrating cultures. As proud Ghanaians who value the richness of our traditional cultures and the respect of our ancestors who handed down the traditional systems to us can we please appeal to our fellow Ghanaians in the diaspora to practice their new found cultures in their countries of residence without insisting that our government officially recognises such cultural practices in our motherland please? I'm a proud Ghanaian!!! Are you?
