CM-400AKG | Specially designed and developed for destroying the enemy Aircraft Carriers.
Pakistan Air Force has included CM-400AKG 'Carrier Killer' Missiles in its arsenal. This lethal and highly accurate weapon was especially conceptualised, developed and inducted for destroying the enemy's Carrier Battle Groups (CBGs). CM-400AKG can be carried by a JF-17 Thunder aircraft.
After launch from a recoverable Stand off Range (250km), it attains optimum altitude with extremely high velocity which allows it to attain a very high Angle of Attack (AoA). It strikes its target i.e a Carrier, Destroyer or a Frigate from the 'top angle' with 'Hypersonic Impact Velocity'. The impact at that speed alone is enough to pe*****te the top deck followed by a high explosive blast going off inside the structure of the vessel, tearing it into pieces. There is no known defense to this weapon's strike deployed on the ships of the hostile nation. They are currently seeking the Israeli Barak-8 Surface to Air Missile system which is not capable of defending the carrier against the CM-400AKG strike as its battle station deployment time is almost 50% higher than the launch to impact time of CM-400AKG Missile.
Apart from this missile system Pakistan Navy fields an awesome array of lethal anti Ship Missile systems, i.e Boeing Harpoon Block-I/II, Exocet AM-39/SM-39, C-802A, C-802AK and C-602A anti Ship Cruise Missiles on its Ships, Submarines, Aircrafts, Helicopters and land bases.
