It's me, Jaclyn, the admin side of Blue Lid and I'm taking a moment to shout out Jon: my other half, amazing father and bbq pitmaster on his sixth Father's Day as a parent. We get asked a lot if this is our full time thing - yes and no. Jon runs this business AND cares for our kids full time, which is far more than a full time job. I told him this morning, I'll tell him again, there's no one else I'd rather parent with. He is helping raise our kids to be brave, smart, confident, independent, and wickedly funny. 💗💗💗
We make it work - we meet him at the kitchen for dinner, FaceTime for saying goodnight, plan out events around some of our family's important days, and it takes a team.
But seriously he makes all of this by himself which is pretty crazy!!
