I hope everyone near me had so much fun in the snow yesterday! It’s not often that Georgia gets snow, so when it comes, we bask in it. Bennett had a blast and kept asking us “Go play in snow” or “I eat snow” 🤣. Experiencing that through his eyes is something I’ll never forget.

You know who NEVER gets snow!? Florida! Which I’m sure my girl is completely fine with. Especially considering they are officially the new owners of 🩵 I’m not skilled on what the do EXACTLY, so head on over to their page to learn more about their new business adventure. For now, I’ll just keep taking pictures of their beautiful family for every amazing life moment!

Yep that’s it! I’m over the cold weather, and completely ready for spring again. The cold is great for a total of 2 weeks, and then it’s annoying and dreary…

We are supposed to get snow on Friday, and a part of me is excited for Bennett to experience his first snow and the other part of me is stress buying snow gear 🤣 So here’s to hoping the warmer weather gets here sooner than later!

My remaining favorite shots of 2024 — I feel so blessed to have been given this year of meeting new people, capturing people I’ve known for years, and all the milestones in some of my favorite people’s life. Bring on 2025 🤍

Honorable mentions for part 2:

#2 - Capturing Holly James throughout her whole first year was so fun. So thankful to have .a.pearce as a mom friend + client!
#3 - Seeing .bell go off to college…. Making me feel so old as I’ve watched this girl grow up!
#4 - Witnessing Dave + Jane as grandparents fulfilled my heart! They watched me grow up in a way, and seeing them with Palmer was so fun and precious.
#5 - Bentley and Bennett are 4 days apart so capturing his 2 year old shoot made it set in that I also have a 2 year old…. How!?!?
#7 - .easterly graduation pictures at UGA - captured her senior pictures from high school so this was full circle, and of course she’s freaking stunning.
#11 - Another girl I have watched grow up! senior pictures had me in tears… and her going to Alabama was part of it.
#16 - Riley’s session had a literal MONSOON in the middle of it, but she became our babysitter afterwards so I was so thankful to have gotten extra time with her.
#19 - Another proposal for one of my best friends! What a special day this was. Zeke and I can’t wait to stand beside these two in May!

Some of my favorites from 2024 part 1 — There are so many albums I could’ve pulled from to showcase my favorites, and if I did, there’d be 26282927 parts to this series. Some of these images are just some favorites because of my work, and some are because they mean something or are incredibly special to me 🩵 2024 was an amazing year for my little company, and I can’t wait to see what 2025 brings.

Some honorable mentions from these images:
#1 - So honored to have been chosen by to capture her stunning little girls. Something so special about their sibling bond.
#4 - Of course, capturing my best friends proposal! It was simply the best weekend for my girl .
#7 - Meeting .chandler, , and .douglass was such a joy! I loved spending time with them, and I felt like a cool big sis throughout the whole session.
#8 - Completely surprising with a proposal! Was so fun seeing her face through it all.
#11 - The Mothers Day shoot we gave to our moms with their children and grandchildren. Not much more to say than my kiddo has the best Lovey ever.
#13 - At that same Mother’s Day shoot, this picture is my sister in law telling me she was pregnant with baby #2! So glad I captured this.
#16 - 1 year old shoots have my heart forever. They are some of my absolute FAVORITES.
#19 - Our sweet Ashley! This session was so fun, and so perfect. So sad college took her away from us because she was also the best baby sitter to our Bennett boy!

It’s only been a couple years since I’ve shown my face on here…. New headshots have me reminiscing on how long I’ve been doing this job, and how much has changed since I’ve started, so here we go.

I’m Brittany 👋🏼 Some people call me Brittany, Britt, and BK (my maiden name), but my favorite name is Mommy.

I’m a wife and mom. If you asked 7 year old Britt what she wanted to be, she would’ve said that.

When I am not capturing people’s life moments, I help teach kiddos with behavioral special needs, and I love every minute of my job…. Even on the hardest days.

My favorite music is music that reminds me of being in our little beach towns. We have places in Hilton Head and Watersound, and enjoy splitting summers at each place.

I love doing photography on the side, and I love meeting so many new people. Since saying goodbye to weddings (motherhood, wife duties, and teaching duties…. I couldn’t do it all), I started really diving into newborns + families, and I LOVE those sessions so much.

My favorite time of year for shooting is April / May — I’m filled with UGA graduates and I get to spend time on one of my favorite campuses, but also I get to see so many high schoolers starting their journeys as well.

To those who’ve been there from the beginning, I love ya + to those who’ve just started out, I love ya more and I can’t wait to meet all of you 🤍

Probably one of my favorite family sessions I’ve ever done! To know this family is to truly love them, and I am so honored they thought of me to capture these moments. I have loved growing up alongside Kendall and Maddie, and I love seeing us start our own families. Everything about this session was perfect (even our little run-in with a neighborhood lady!!!), but swipe to the end to see the most perfect picture captured that morning 🥹
