Open Day at Beccles Sea Cadets on Sun 7 May 12-4pm. Come along and find out more about opportunities for children age 9-18 or volunteering with us.

As part of the Beccles Coronation Big Lunch on Sun 7 May we will be holding an Open Day from 1200-1600. If you are interested in finding out more about the Sea Cadets, please come along. Unit tours, boat trips and refreshments available.

Less than 3 weeks until the next fayre. Yes folks we're another craft fayre on the 20th August. Please get sharing, lets make this one even bigger than the last.
Any donations of raffle prizes would be gratefully received, all funds raised from the stall fees, raffle and refreshments are for the Beccles Sea Cadets.

A huge thank you to all the volunteers, stall holders and of course the community who came along to support our craft fayre today. It was a great day and we raised over £460 for the cadets. A fantastic day was had by all. See you all again I hope, for our May 28th Fayre.

My sincere apologies, the craft fayre planned for November 27th has had to be cancelled due to circumstances beyond my control. All dates for 2022 will go ahead as planned.

Good Morning, as you may see we have created several craft fayre events to cover the remainder of 2021 and then 2022. These will of course go ahead as long as the guidelines allow and if for any reason things change, we will let you know ASAP. If you are interested in having a stall please pop us a message or comment below and we will respond as quick as possible. Spaces are limited and filling up quick so please don't delay in booking. It is with great sadness that I am cancelling the summer fayre and the august BBQ fayre. With the current crisis we were holding out hope that we would still be able to run the later ones. However after advice and guidance from the Sea Cadet Corp, we will not be opening the unit to the public until September, at the earliest. As it stands the Christmas fayre will still run, however this may also change and I will update once I have further news. Thank you for your understanding, please keep safe and I hope to see you all soon.

As you are all aware the current coronavirus pandemic is causing a lot of concern and we want to take all necessary precautions to protect you and customers coming to the fayre.
With this in mind, I have been talking with the other members on the committee and Sea cadet staff. We have decided that it is in everyone's best interest to cancel the fayre.
I am looking to add another date further in the year to make up for this cancellation.
I am sorry for the inconvenience, we have not taken this decision lightly and hope that you understand that we are doing everything we can to protect you and prevent the unnecessary spread if we can.

This weekend the HQ has been home to more than a dozen Beccles sea cadets and staff who have been taking part in a Sea Cadet Corp Row 3000 challenge. This challenge was to row the length of the Atlantic Ocean collectively across the corp. Day 1 saw the corp complete over 3600 miles and Beccles Sea Cadets were in 3rd place. Day 2 saw another 2000 miles added to the total. I am please to announce that Beccles finished in first place, having completed 562 miles!

Hi and welcome to the new Beccles Sea Cadet Unit.

Our brand new, purpose built unit, is available for hire to the community with a choice of four different sized areas, (kitchen also available on request).

We would be delighted to consider regular bookings, as well as occasion functions. All proceeds go to supporting the Sea Cadets.
