This is a super easy cake! I spend a lot more time on the activities and decorations of the party than the food, so I have learned to make a cake as quick and effective as possible.

🎂 I make a standard cake using a (gasp) Betty Crocker cake mix because they are always moist and tasty

🔵Funky icing optional, in this case I tried out a new Neon blue from Ocado which I was very impressed with!

🖨️ Print and laminate pictures of the favourite thing of the moment - in this case Geometry Dash

😊Stick them on straws / cocktail sticks using sellotape and poke them into the top of the cake!

Job done and it looks much more impressive than if I had tried to make anything out of icing by hand; that is not my forte.

February - Chloe

Chloe lives in Haslemere with her husband, 2 children and her cocker spaniel, Lucy. She runs Kooky Kiwi Party Company, creating bespoke party designs and activities for children in a theme of their choice. Although, Chloe’s current obsession is trying to hurry along solicitors so she can finally move and take on a new house renovation!

Ali says:

"I met Chloe a few years ago when she started coming to my classes at the Haslemere Leisure Centre. When we went into Lockdown Chloe started coming to my live Zoom classes and was always a pleasure to teach as she is so enthusiastic and has a great sense of humour! Once I launched the 'on demand' platform Chloe was hooked and in fact now only uses 'on demand'. It fits perfectly around her busy lifestyle and Chloe makes sure she gets her 3 workouts in every week. That's dedication right there."

Chloe says:

"I started Ali’s classes in January 2021, I had been taking her classes at the gym and had amazing results so when we all got locked down again, going online was a no brainer. The classes were my lifeline to the real world and a great way to release the tension of the day when attempting to homeschool 1 child whilst entertaining another. It was the only time when I could legitimately lock myself in a room alone!"

"When the gym reopened, I went back because I still had my membership, but I didn’t want to lose the convenience of Ali’s classes. So, I changed to 'on demand' as I found it much easier to fit into my day than trekking to the gym, and, I could do them earlier in the morning and then get on with my day."

"The range of classes Ali offers are perfect for all my different moods and have had a massive impact on my strength, fitness and, more importantly for me, my shape and confidence! I do 3 classes a week - cardio, lifting and stretch, and have quit the gym!"

"I had always thought I needed to do tonnes of cardio to see results, but adding weights and stretch / balance to my routine has made more difference than cardio alone ever has. I also enjoy it much more, so I’m much more motivated and work out more consistently as a result. I love the flexibility of 'on demand' because no two days are ever the same for me - but I do miss Ali’s personalised encouraging comments when she could see I was killing it on the Zoom classes!"

Minecraft Speedrun IN REAL LIFE!
🎂An amazing birthday party for a 5 year old & 8 year old.
They asked for Minecraft Real World Edition and with a bit of crafting and a lot of imagination (and a lot of hours spent trying to teach me what Minecraft was) I think it turned out pretty well!

My newest party is about to be shipped out of the door! The adventure has been designed around a grandparent’s fantastic garden with fairy tale characters along the way, culminating in a battle against a dragon to save the fairy princess 🐉 🧚‍♀️ 🦸🏻‍♂️ 🪄

Anyone who knows me knows that I 💚Halloween.
As soon as my boys go back to school in September my mind turns to all things spooky.
I am planning a couple of Halloween parties including one for my son’s school which I’m so excited about! As well as coming up with new ideas for my own infamously extravagant display at Kiwi Cottage.
There are a lot of covid cases around though and I’m worried Halloween will be cancelled again 😱 🦠

Superhero Academy - Be as fast as the Flash, as strong as Iron Man, throw like Thor... but then, oh no! A baddie has stolen their party bags! They will have to use their skills to capture the baddie and get them back! Can they save the day? Of course! Please note: Batman is not included, it takes a special Dad to take on the role, it’s certainly encouraged but not imperative to the day, but what a day this was! 🦸🏻‍♂️
