Here is our ode to Canada to celebrate this holiday; a teepee design with a red and white balloon garland; accompanied with a lovely banana cake and its fluffy cream cheese frosting. Topping it off are cherry-red roses to give the cake an extra boost of colour.

Summer is finally here! With a tough year that has passed, let's make the most of this season and enjoy the little things with our loved ones.

This awesome winter vanilla fondant cake, with a delicious lemon filling, was made by the talented Sweet Selena's Desserts. Notice the wonderful blue, turquoise and white colours; plus the super cool stars and musical notes that she created! Added on top of this cake was one of the birthday celebrant's favourite anime character, Hatsune Miku.⭐

As summer revs up, we can still have fun, but let's all remember to still use precautions and continue to follow the guidelines:

"In an effort to prevent the spread of COVID-19 within communities and across the country, all Canadians are advised to:

For Blackout Tuesday, we muted ourselves and agreed that the show must be paused. We took the time to listen, learn and reflect. We used that time to figure out how to propel ourselves into action. Such beautiful unities and powerful movements have taken place thus far, but Camille Driz Events understands and acknowledges that there is still more work to be done.

Here are 3 things that we can do:

1. Identify ways to help Black communities, whether it be through signing petitions, peaceful protesting, donating and supporting our local Black-owned businesses.

2. Strengthen our knowledge and understanding on contemporary race relations and the history of Black social, political and economic plight in the US.

3. Let's be the change we want to see in this world. ✊🏿✊🏾✊🏽✊🏼✊🏻✊
