I’m often asked what creates a great highlight video. I sometimes say: private vows, a good reading or poem or an excellent officiant. Well Miranda and Santos wedding day had it all. here’s a teaser from their beautiful day!
🎥 How do I create a highlight video?
- I edit all the formal events first to re-live all the special moments. This is normally when I get emotional.
- I make notes of speeches, vows, etc that I want to use
- I listen to the music played throughout your day (first dance, ceremony music) to get a feel of the music you and your partner enjoy.
- I make a draft all the day then pick your song. I use two licensed websites to narrow down the length, mood, and bpm. I listens to probably 5-100 songs side by side with my draft video until I find the perfect song.
- after I purchase your song I start cutting the clips to the beat of the music, add affects and finally color correction
- I watch your highlight video about 1 million times to make sure everything looks great!

When it comes to editing videos, I tend to feel the emotion between the couple as I am creating their love story. It’s truly a blessing but also challenging. I go through so many boxes of tissues.
