The Regional Venue Collective launches!

The Byron Theatre, The Regent Theatre in Murwillumbah and The Star Court Theatre in Lismore are excited to launch the Regional Venue Collective with their inaugural tour, Grigoryan Brothers ‘This Is Us’.

So as well as donating 50% after costs to flood relief, we’re also offering 30 complimentary tickets per gig - for our Byron and Regent Theatre shows - for people hit hard by the floods. WILD THYME ~ The Other Side of Song Tour 2022

FLOOD FUNDRAISER ~ 50% of profits to local Flood Relief

The Regional Venue Collective presents Wild Thyme appearing at The Byron Theatre on Thursday April 7th and at The Regent in Murwillumbah on Friday April 8th, with both shows starting at 7.30pm. Both shows are Flood Fundraisers, with 50% of profits being donated to local flood relief. Wild Thyme have done a spate of fundraisers along the coast for the flood affected in the Northern Rivers, with close ties and family in the region.
Wild Thyme is a must-see live experience, the love-child of three musicians at the top of their game; Arlene Fletcher on double bass and vocals, Katie Crane on guitar and vocals, and Laura Targett on fiddle and vocals. With influences from Bluegrass, to Klezmer, to Gypsy–Jazz, to swing, to the dance music of European folk traditions, Wild Thyme have the skills to explore musical expression in innovative and exciting ways. Immerse yourself into their exciting and passionate world – full of driving, high-energy music with beautiful harmonies. The Regent has been placed in "The 25 most beautiful cinemas in Australia' from Flicks.

It's a great honour for this majestic Lady – the Art Deco 'jewel in the crown' of beautiful Murwillumbah.

The Regent is a much loved and cared for cinema and live music venue, she opened in 1947 and is still going strong as a cultural hub and center for the Arts in Murwillumbah.
