I prefer cash (exact change) today but I do accept card.

I’ve been battling with myself about posting this picture of my mom for days. I’m a transparent person and I feel like with me having my face as the brand behind my business I can be open to those who support me. I just ask that y’all don’t judge me.

Last week I got a call and found my mom like this. Barely able to talk, couldn’t open her eyes, face just all messed up. My mom is a very tough woman and she raised an equally strong daughter. We’ve had our issues. More than I can count but I love that lady smh. Seeing her like that and wiping blood and tears out of her face sent me. It was like adding one more drop of water to my already overfilled bucket. That sh*t… I can’t even put into words how I felt.

On top of that my truck was messing up. People texting me and catching attitudes like I’m acting funny whole I’m GOING THROUGH something. When I feel like I’m about to be mean, negative or like my aura is about to be nasty I just retreat. I disappear.

Life is kicking my ass right now. When I tell you I’m trying to be strong. I’m trying my hardest. Any other person would’ve been snapped. I thank god for peace of mind. I thank god for strength. I would’ve been crashed out but god has placed me too far in life to act out irrationally.

I’m making some changes to my life soon. The cafe will be one of them. Just bare with me. I’m human. Yes I own a business but I go through things too. It’s just one of me running the show. I don’t have anyone to switch shifts with or PTO. It’s just me.

Pray for my mom too. I pray that god delivers her from that lifestyle before it’s too late.
