Thank you to everyone who braved the bugs and the heat and came to dance with us in the sunshine for our holiday celebration!

An extra big thank you goes to those who took their rubbish home, and the folks who helped us clean up at 4am.

We have some standard post-sesh lost property items including cooler bags, shoes & water bottles, but importantly also a wallet that was found around halfway through the night.

Bristol based DJ has been making a name for himself recently across the South West. Heavily influenced by Jungle & Drum & Bass from young age, Crossy has played at a variety of venues and festivals supporting some top acts such as Bryan Gee, DJ Hybrid, Kelvin 373, Aries & Saxxon and has recently picked up a residency for the award-winning brand Rumble in the Jungle. Representing Born On Road (D&B Arena Awards Best Label 2022)

ARTIST SPOTLIGHT: ZERO1

Last up for our local support lineup is Zero1, a drum and bass DJ who grew up in London. After going to his first jungle rave back in 98, solidifying his love for the music, he eventually bought some turntables. After a few years he was running several internet radio shows and later had his mix played on DJ Flight’s ‘Breakin New Talent’ segment on BBC 1xtra. In 2010 he moved to Melbourne and got deeply involved in the drum and bass scene, building his rep on the underground warehouse party circuit. After a few years he started hosting another radio show on Kiss FM called The LoFreq Show. He has supported artists such as Benny L, Danny Byrd, Friction, Cern, Dom & Roland, Philth, Breakage… the list goes on. He has also played at several festivals including the legendary Esoteric Festival. More recently he has progressed into production and event organising with the Bass Culture crew. He is known for his versatile style, smooth flow and technical mixing.

ARTIST SPOTLIGHT: SISTYM

No stranger to playing countless venues ranging from smoky underground clubs, forest festivals and European boat parties, Sistym has a propensity for rumbling low-end soundscapes where the bass rattles your rib cage. Nurturing a passion for deep and gritty broken rhythms taking inspiration from genres such as left-field beats, dubstep and drum and bass, her impact fuelled sets and original productions carry listeners on a journey into darker dimensions.

Throwing down heavy-weight performances alongside top tier artists such as Andy C, Friction, Alix Perez, Break and Truth, Sistym’s impeccable selections have captivated audiences globally at festivals such Shambhala Music Festival (BC), Earth Frequency (Qld) and Breakfest (WA).

Based in Melbourne, she recently joined the roster for acclaimed crew The Operatives and has rapidly progressed to become one of the city's most in demand bass music artists. She is also focusing on her production journey, with her debut track “Ganges” achieving airplay on Triple J and BBC Radio 1.

Kudos is an emcee hailing from the great city of Coburg!
He’s done a bunch of cool things in his life as a performer, highlights including speaking at TEDX, performing at Rainbow Serpent, The Town, Splendour in the Grass and Woodford Folk Festival. He’s collaborated with legends such as DJ Lickweed, Staunch, Austero and Kleenbeats.

Known for rapping over everything across Boombap, Trap, Funk, House and whatever else you might want to throw at him, Kudos will be performing along side DJ Grumbl at Rubix Warehouse this Friday supporting Crossy +Trafic MC.

Grumbl has been honing his craft and making dancefloors bounce all over Melbourne. A project that explores the different sonic textures of sub grumble. Expect to indulge your ears in a vast array of Hip Hop, Drum and bass, halftime and 140 beats. Grumbl creates a b***y popping experience that keeps the dancefloor shaking with tight mixing and a bag full of the freshest bangers.

His relentless motivation to learn and immense love for music has seen him supporting some of the biggest acts in the southern hemisphere such as Staunch, Chamberlain, Kodiak Kid and Grouch in dub. Grumbl is becoming a household name that is not to be missed.

Enyo moved to Australia 6 years ago from the UK and has since become a core member of the Melbourne bass music community. As co-founder of both Bass Culture & Melbourne Stomp Collective, her passion for Jungle & DnB has resulted in many free parties, bush doofs as well as international club events. A long-time raver, her roots are firmly planted in Jungle music, more recently branching out into mixing Drum & Bass too, resulting diverse, nostalgic & energetic sets.
