I LOVE when I find simple gadgets that work!

Making a pot of chili & remembered I’d thrown the utensil clip in my cart as an after thought, wondering if I’d ever actually use it or if it wouod get lost in the “everything” drawer … surprise …

I LOVE this thing!! And the fact that it’s made to be used on various pots is amazing! It’ll definitely get lots of use!

So I’ve been meaning to make some Banana Bread forever .. I can’t tell you how many bananas had been wasted waiting for this to happen. But since my stand mixer arrived today I figured now or never since the physical act of mixing has been a bit beyond me lately.

I decided to split the batter to try out both the Multi Cooker & the Air Fryer. For the Multi Cooker I used the Fluted Cake pan. And for the Air Fyer I used a silicone egg bite/mini muffin mold.

And viola … the Air Fryer batch came out a bit wonky but they don’t have to look pretty to be edible!

25 minute cook time & about 7 minutes prep. Definitely better than the old oven method!

Beef tips & gravy in the Multi Cooker!

Forget to take the tops out of the freezer but never fear! Beef setting on the Multi Cooker had dinner on the table from frozen in 1.5hrs.

Yes the gravy is a bit “light”, trying to find a less salty variation.

Today’s gadget experiment is the Quick Cooker Stackable Steaming Rack Set!

Made for use in both the Quick Cooker and the MultiCooker, this handy dandy plate holds up to 12 eggs, or as the name suggests, stack for 24. It comes with removable handles to easy clips onto, removes from the plate. Excluding the MutiCooker preheat time and the ice bath, it took 10 minutes for 6 of the best hard boiled eggs I’ve ever had. Handling with the included handles makes transferring from the Cooker to the ice bath crazy easy. And clean up is a breeze given that it’s hand wash OR dishwasher safe!

I have zero excuse to not make deviled eggs next time I’m craving them!

Update: some of the best rice I’ve ever made! And way quicker!

Giving this a try today(long grain white rice in the Deluxe Multi Cooker). I love rice but frequently am too impatient for the 20-25 minute cook time(15-20 + resting).

I’ll be super excited if the 4 minute cook time is actually legit!

I love hamburgers .. I do not love trying to make hamburger patties. I finally got around to trying out the hamburger/slider press! Well actually, someone got a bit impatient but look at the size of these patties!! We then cooked em up in the Deluxe Air Fryer. It was so nice to finally have a burger closer in size to our buns!

As mentioned, I got a wild hair for some Monkeybread when I saw this kit at the grocery store. Of course making from scratch is soooo much better 🤤 but for this experiment this kit worked well. For reference, I don’t recommend this kit. Especially if you know what a good Monkeybread should taste like.

And I have to note this Fluted Cake Pan makes just enough! A traditional full size Bundt pan would leave me with a week’s worth of Monkeybread to try to eat before it dried out & became hard(if I were the only one eating it, which I usually am since the husband doesn’t care for sweets like this).

Any way, I could not be happier with how it turned out. I will definitely be making another from scratch soon. A good recipe to follow is in the comments! He other adaptation I made was mixing everything in a bowl then transferring to the cake pan. The kit instructions say mix right in the Bundt pan, but I need to be a bit of a rebel … 🤷🏻‍♀️
