This week we borrowed a bread maker from The Sydney Library of Things . Such a great initiative! We made lots of bread for a fraction of the cost of bakery bread.
They have all sorts of things to borrow. Perfect for those appliances, tools, games or toys that you know would mostly just take up valuable shelf space in your house if you had your own. Why not borrow one and let other people use it when you aren’t?

Our most recent donation goes to a Northern Beaches Organisation called Emu Parade. Their mission is "to help rehabilitate ecosystems AND community spirit, one cup and bucket at a time" by organising cleanup events and offering free coffee to volunteers. Check them out!

Emu Parade organises rubbish cleanup events with a difference, where volunteers are deliciously rewarded with free coffee, and a focus on celebrating connection through conservation.

We are expanding! Thanks to a very generous donation, we now have even more tableware, tablecloths and bunting to hire out. Take a look at some of our additions! Big thumbs up to the event organisers of Night at the Barracks! We went last night and were super impressed with some of the sustainability initiatives, including water bottle refill stations. Probably no better soundtrack for the message than Xavier Rudd’s songs about respect and appreciation for the planet and for each other. 😊🌸🌿🎶
