Thank you so much to everyone that came and partied with us yesterday at Good Vibrations presents Ricky Morrison What an afternoon! 🙏❤️

It was wonderful to see so many of you and your beautiful smiling faces! It really was an afternoon of pure joy!

The biggest thank you goes out to my amazing guest Ricky Morrison ❤️🫶🏻 This man is the most professional talented DJ and if that wasn’t enough, one of the nicest humans you could ever meet! He took us all on a the most fantastic musical journey, tune after tune. Phenomenal!!!! 🙏❤️🥳

I’m bringing you all a host of amazing guest DJs in 2024, so much to look forward to!

Good Vibrations will now be the last Sunday of every month going forward. Sunday 28th January is our first of the year with my good friend Derrick Patterson. I’ll be bringing you all the info in the next few days so get the date in your diaries, you won’t want to miss it!

'Good Vibrations' has really gone beyond my expectations this year. Thank you so much. from the bottom of my heart to everyone who has attended our monthly soulful get together, it's you, the wonderful community of music lovers that have really made these events a success. I'm really happy to call many of you my friends.

Booker T, Tony Matthews, Stretch Taylor, Steve Doc & Flate, Matthew Bigg, Danny T, Ivan T & Ross Thornhill have all graced the decks, and we welcome the amazing Ricky Morrison from MiSoul this month! I couldn't do it without you guys, so thank you for bringing so much joy to the dance floor each month, I love you all.

2024 is fast approaching and I have some fantastic guest DJs lined up. I'll be releasing more info for each event nearer the time, but don't let the cold weather put you off coming out in the new year, our soulful vibes will warm you up and put a big smile on your face!

Decembers edition of Good Vibrations sees the wonderful Ricky Morrison joining us!

One of the UK’s most respected House DJ’s and Record Producers, Ricky Morrison has been breaking beats since it all began in ’86. Genuinely one of the most influential producers & DJ’s in the UK house scene from its original days in the early eighties, Ricky Morrison has earned a reputation for delivering big performances and big records.

Ricky has played at many of the best clubs in the world, on every continent, and very much has a style of his own that stands him out from the crowd, a style that saw him play the main room at the Southport Weekender five years in a row as the event was returning to its soulful roots in the late 90’s. Also a regular at the Ministry Of Sound, Fabric & Pacha, Ricky developed a sound for the big rooms these venues offered that filled the space without betraying his soulful roots.

With long-time friend and music partner, Fran Sidoli, Ricky produced under the name M&S and was responsible for many of the groundbreaking releases that helped take dance music from the back streets to the high streets including the monster hit ‘Salsoul Nugget’ which reached No 6 in the National Chart in 2001. Other big M&S Productions included their debut, ‘Keep On’ with Jay Ella Ruth & ‘Special’ by Robbie Craig, both released by Public Demand, the hugely successful ‘Don’t Give Up’ with Michelle Weeks and their timeless remix of the classic ‘Moment Of My Life’ by Bobby D’Ambrosio. The list of M&S productions and remixes is endless and they were a backbone of many of the trailblazing events that took the sound to the mainstream where it sits comfortably today.

We're so excited for Ricky to join us at The Invicta Bar Gravesend! Until then you can catch this wonderfully talented man on MiSoul radio with his equally wonderful partner in crime Brandon Block with their Musical Emporium on Fridays from 7pm - 9pm 😃

Matt is instrumental in the running of the biggest soul festival in the UK, Margate Soul Festival
His sets at Carnival Corner are legendary and a highlight of the whole weekend for me, so Matt was at the forefront of my mind when I started booking the DJs for Good Vibrations. I know you guys love him just as much as I do and if you haven't seen Matt play yet you're in for a treat!

We start at 3pm and go on until 8pm and it's free entry as always. We're only a two minute walk from Gravesend train station.
