Christmas seems to start earlier each year! First lot of wreaths out for delivery this week and so I’ve been experimenting with dry material that should last well into the new year.

First time I’ve seen one of these tiny crab spiders, and here she is just ambling across my table! Females can grow up to 6 mm, males up to 4mm. Head and legs are bright green (no filter used here), and the abdomen is yellowish with a red-brown mark. Amazingly they can change colour to fit their surroundings!

Wreath #80 done, and this one is destined for our own front door. Who knew turkey feathers were so so beautiful!! Gifted to me by a local game keeper. Happy Christmas folks, have a lovely break, put the feet up and turn off the news 😉 ###

Pampas grass is apparently back in vogue! A full wreath of it feels rather decadent and, as a 70s child, a little bit nostalgic. Someone else seems to like it too.
