Been on my sights for a while since following his music from his self and recent signed releases on so very excited to air this one for you all! I’ve played a fair few of these in my mixes of the past year so go take a listen for your self on his socials!

A producer spanning across multiple genres from the likes of 140, Grime & Jungle. Little may know but these boys have a special place in the foundations of how I first began mixing! They both introduced me to the Leicester underground scene! They inspired me massively to learn how to mix and gave me the confidence to produce music as well!! Truly grateful!

Mezza has been breaking ground recently in the grime/140 scene with releases on getting his first vinyl release “nightmare”, a feature on the huge volume 6 va and now set to release his first ep “this is only the beginning” at the end of the month it’s fair to say that he’s coming out all guns blazing in 24!

Excited to have producer Oliver Prince on this month’s guest mix, all the way from Christchurch, New Zealand 🇳🇿

I first discovered him on label part of their Drop FM charity EP with the track Hush Money! Strongly recommend you check this one out as well as the label if you haven’t already!

The breadth to Oliver’s productions is clearly evident in his talent when incorporating large reverberating bass lines that encapsulates a dub sound system style, incorporating essences of jungle breakbeats cascading throughout. Looking through his catalogue of music you can see a deep seeded influence of sound system culture producing high energy breakbeat, jungle and deep dubstep sounds! Make it known that these are the type of songs that deserve to be played out on a 5k rig!

He recently released his first vinyl NORM:001 out on last year in September featuring wobble methods/ Hush Money VIP which was featured on Sudo sound mix on YouTube channel!

The mix he has provided for us explores 140 -160 BPM so expect the high energy jungle tunes to come out with a handful of unreleased dubs from himself!
