Wondering what people aren’t doing at weddings anymore and what is/isn’t worth it? We’ve got 3 things that are absolutely dying in the wedding industry, and we honestly support it 100% (and no, we did not include bouquet/garter toss in this list because lets be real, that’s not dying... it’s been dead!)
Here’s my hot takes
1) Champagne toasts. Cute? Of course! Necessary for toasts? Absolutely not.
2) With couples moving away from huge wedding cakes, you can create a delightful mini dessert station experience offering an array of bite-sized treats like cupcakes, cake pops, macarons, and various pastries. Then you can keep a small cutting cake for the ceremonial moment and then supplement it with these creative dessert options.
3) And yes, the line dances! We have all heard them a million and one times, and its time for a change. Instead of playing these songs try opting for songs that are personal to you as a couple that you know will be getting your loved one’s on the dance floor (disclaimer: we will always support the wobble as the only acceptable line dance at your wedding)
Remember, embracing these changes ensures that you and your guests have an unforgettable and enjoyable experience on the big day.
