This 7 layer French Vanilla wedding cake with Swiss Meringue Buttercream icing was a hit!
Baking isn’t my usual, but I was super pleased with how this turned out.

Dinner for 30 over the weekend.

Cooked a 15lb “oven-smoked” southern style brisket, served with my twisted BBQ sauce, Texas style chicken, Potato Salad, Sweet Corn salad, Cornbread, and Smokey Baked Beans.

Followed by French Vanilla cake with a Swiss Meringue Buttercream Icing.

Yum!

… Smokey Pulled Pork and Baked Beans!

I started working in catering both in kitchen and service, in Toronto over 15 years ago.

I have had the pleasure of working with some very talented and creative chefs, caterers, and party planners.

I’ve taken much of what I’ve learned into my own kitchen and now I want to share with you some of my cosy home-made favourites.
