What is Nasi Dalca?
Hot on the heels of nasi kandar arrive these equally tasty rice dishes.
Ask long-time Penangites and they will tell you that nasi dalca is the most celebrated rice dish after nasi kandar. Nasi Dalca is essentially nasi minyak (ghee based scented rice cooked with spices) served with dalca curry.
Itβs savoury, itβs creamy, itβs delicious!
This uniquely northern rice dish is usually eaten with various side dishes such as chicken, mutton, beef, vegetables and a good dose of dalca curry.
Itβs a local favourite and if you love Nasi kandar then you would not want to miss this!
