We have realised that neither of us have managed to book a photographer. Probably because both of us don't much like having our photo taken. However. In order to avoid this situation if anyone can recommend a local photographer who might be free we'd be very grateful! Failing that - or anyway - could you all take lots of pics please!🙂

Hilariously, when we chose this hymn for the wedding, the organist declared that we should replace it with 'Praise My Soul the King of Heaven' otherwise no one would sing. Some of you have been so kind and asked us if we'd like a wedding gift, and if so, what we'd like. We've found that really difficult to answer for lots of reasons - not least because you all being with us on the day is the thing we'd like most. However, one or two people have expressed their view that we could be more helpful about this! We do have a gift list set up with John Lewis, https://www.johnlewis.com/wish-list/PHVPJKT but there isn't much on it because there isn't much we need! We always have a travel project and a sailing project on hand - we are planning to go to Canada next year to visit the Canadian family: there's so many of them we couldn't expect them to come here for the wedding so we're going there. We have a lovely trip to the Kestrel Nationals planned for August. For any of those we would be so happy if you just bought us a drink or a litre of fuel (drink's probably cheaper) for the journey. As a final alternative, we would welcome a donation to either Cancer Research or The Ellen MacArthur Cancer Trust in our names.

It's suddenly not long to go until 9th April!
We're sitting at home happily nursing our Covid sniffles on the grounds that we'll all be better and immune in time for the wedding.

I'm dreaming of confetti - biodegradable, of course, at the request of the church...
