Luna says, " the two backyard weddings Grandma did this weekend were so special and so beautiful...even though they are both secrets from their families!" Sometimes couples just want to be married privately and then the big reveal comes at the big family gathering later. That's what happened this weekend. So this week, I created a wedding ceremony for a couple in less than 10 days!! They came to me because they suddenly realized that their wedding officiant was not licensed. In the province of Ontario, make sure you are having a licensed officiant to oversee your ceremony. The officiant should be able to produce a valid license. It's important because the officiant is the person that sends your signed and witnessed license to the Ministry in Thunderbay. If you are getting married, you want to ensure that your marriage is legal.
