inspired us at Vogue Knitting Live this weekend with her larger than life crochet mural. We caught her fantastic fiber creation on Friday night, to watch her crochet coloring book come to life check out her feed! So brilliant ❤️

The mini skeins we chose for Christmas Vacation are Hedgehog Fibers and Junkyarn. We had to add an evergreen mini skein to reference the giant tree the Grizwalds chose for their home.

To show off the colors in the mood board, we chose Five Borough yarns mini skeins from the crafters' assemble yarn collection. We couldn't wait to choose these colors! We selected Chaos magic, the scarlet witch colorway. To complement, we brought in Just A Kid From Brooklyn, Anyone Can Wear the Mask, and I Am My Own Woman. Colorways are inspired by Captain America, Miles Morales Spider-man, and Black Widow.

Junk Yarn's 2020 Advent fits our Peppermint mocha theme perfectly. We selected a beautiful mint colorway that hits the coolness we think of when we get this drink. We then chose two colors that played nicely against the green tone. We selected two snow-white skeins with lots of pink, green, and red speckles, almost like the twinkling lights of a Christmas tree.

To bake this yarnie pie, we only had to grab three ingredients. First crust! We choose a natural alpaca as our base for this dessert. Next comes the filling! To mimic the shade of the pumpkin purée, we choose the colorway Petty by Earl Grey Fiber co. You can't forget a dollop of whipped cream, can you? To top off this pie, we chose a Junk Yarn advent mini from 2020. It's the perfect way to top off this pie.

To create this single-shade mood board, we chose to highlight three dyers. The first color we selected was the Ex Libris in the colorway, Mina Murray. The second hue we chose is Chaos Magic by Five Borough Yarns. This two-toned colorway hits the highlights like the cranberry sauce shimmering on the table. Our last color is from Fashion School Dropout this OOAK colorway is dyed on a slub yarn to mimic the cranberries.
