On Saturday, I'll be playing at CSD on the truck, from 13:00 to 14:30. You can't miss it, it'll be the last one 😈 First time I play a day time slot, but I wont miss an occasion to make you sweat 💦

I must say the joy to play for my community got a bit shaken when I learnt that Neonazis are planning a Leipzig city trip to disturb the parade.
Like kids who are not invited to a bday party, they are shouting and making noise to get attention. And it works. All the media are talking about them and the kids ego is exploding.
So yeah, to all the Marcus, we know you exist and you're not happy because some people are living love and life differently from you.
Maybe you've been bullied as a kid and you need to throw that to someone instead of going to therapy. Maybe you're not 100% sure that you're 100% hetero and you're expressing your internalised homophobia by scaring people while burning pride flag.
But if you have enough time to go in the streets to fight against other people's rights, instead of taking care of yourself or your beloved ones, this is just sad my little Marcus. You're a sad person and we won't let you ruin the party.
Time to show up to all the qu**rs, the allies 🙏🏳️‍🌈

The silence here in Germany regarding the genocide in Palestine is deafening. It's not an elephant in the room, it's a herd of them. Standing with Palestine led many of us to observe way less gigs invitations and censorship. The more layers of discrimination we have, the worst it gets.

Beyond the world of nightlife, defending the Palestinians' right to live jeopardizes the security of some, seeing their residence permit or nationalization in Germany jeopardized, facing harassment on social networks, in the street, at work and in their group of friends and family.

Since October, I've been wearing this T-shirt at the rare DJ gigs I had been invited to play at.
It's not a gesture to defy the anti-d. I have no more energy to devote to their convoluted theories.
This is a gesture of solidarity for all those who are outraged, shocked, saddened and in mourning. I see you. I feel you.
Music is political. Silence too. And I do not plan on being silent. I plan on making noise, taking space and using music as a cathartic tool to dance out our emotions and raise money for people who need it to survive in this insane world. And yes, I plan on doing that at IFZ too, wearing a Keffiyeh and - spoiler - playing the great Falestini remix from .official.
I really liked a quote from I read in a Telegram chat: "We don’t need seats at their table. We create our own tables". So, get ready, because we're not planning on keeping our mouths shut.

🍃 It's been a very intense few months. In the world, as well as in my personal life.
This time, the catharsis took place in sunnier musical territory, with this set recorded for Callshop Radio
I'm exploring more bouncy sounds, with latincore and bouncy techno, before moving on to trance, acid techno and psy trance.
Digging up new music can be a long and time-consuming task, so I've decided to create a playlist on my Soundcloud, featuring the set in question, as well as the tracks that make it up.

✊ The idea? Getting more FLINTA* and BIPoC persons behind the decks, by offering them accessible and dedicated DJ Workshops.

You're used to playing on a controller but want to go to the next step? In this workshop, we'll introduce you to a play on the same gear that you'll have in a club.

As well as last time, the workshop 🎧, will be held by members of Kiebitz 🐦. Steiner, DJ and Two Dots, producer and DJ. They will guide you through the use of CDJs and a mixer so you can feel comfortable playing around with this gear.

TONIGHT, it's time to blossom with our Kiebitz party!
I've been working a lot on this party for the past weeks, and I'm proud of what we did, and also looking forward to this magic moment, when everything is under control and people are enjoying the night. This little sparkle in my chest, accompanied by a proud smile: we did it.
Reminder: the Dj workshop is from 6 to 9, and then I'll close the dance floor with my mate Two Dots Music from 4 to 6am.

It took me a while to start DJing, and one reason was that I was feeling I would not be able to handle this gear, that looks super technical.
I practised a lot on my controller but had a very few occasions to play on CDJs and Pioneer / Allen&Heath mixer, which are the standards in most clubs. Those are very expensive and quite overwhelming.
I feel lucky some friends took time to show it to me (like or Znzl), and that C***e Island provides a free DJ studio for FLINTA*.
Even though, it happened many times that I arrive at a gig and play on equipment I never used before, feeling ashamed I had to ask basic questions to the tech engineer (when there was one) or to experiment cutting the music when pressing the wrong filter k**b while playing 😅
So now I'm feeling a bit more confident on these machines, I feel it makes a lot of sense to make this path easier for others, especially those who have less access to it.

I'm very proud of this mix I recorded for the Kiebitz podcast. Not only because I feel more confident behind the decks, but also because behind this 59 minutes of music, there is a "no" said to the label that initially contacted me to record it for them.
It's a no to their approach, that consists of booking mostly white cis men on their event, although their podcast is mostly composed of mixes from FLINTA* artists. It means they choose to support financially those who are the most privileged in the music field and the society, maintaining the gate with all the people who do not fit in this category.
Music has always been political and will always be.

FLINTA* stands for women, le****ns, inter-, non-binary-, trans- and agender- persons. It is a collective term for people who suffer from patriarchal discrimination. The asterisk * stands for all those who are not found in any of the letters in the term and are marginalized in our patriarchal majority society, it clarifies the inclusiveness of the term.

Getting behind the decks is an act of empowerment. Both in the message it carries and in the people who convey it. This is what stands for with her energetic, cathartic music, in which she o
