Tomorrow at Soulforce Community Dinner will be my first time in my professional career as a chef preparing a dish to the public using Carolina Gold Rice. Why so significant? This is the same grain of rice my ancestors was brought to this country to cultivate and harvest against their will. These are the things I live for as a chef! I pray I represent them with everything I got!
