Hi guys! Well I had a bit of a rest today and have been much less of a wuss that I thought I'd be.

Tomorrow I'll be in the tearoom to box things up and throw bits and bobs out...so if there was something you still fancied get in touch and I can arrange a time to let you in.

Well my lovely Hi Ters!
Our last trading day will be tomorrow 😢😢.

Even though we are super busy in the tearoom and with takeaway caddies we have stocked up on exquisite cakes for you to pop by and take home. Please come and say goodbye and treat yourself to a final giant strawberry tart!

On Sunday from 12pm we will be open for everyone to collect their items, chairs, coffee grinders, urn, chandeliers,etc.

We'll have a table of teasets, etc and everything really must go. Maybe even grab yourself a bargain! All welcome!

Hi guys, I was inundated about the iron caddies last night and it's only fair I take an email at a time, especially when someone wants multiple, or them all. ...but then doesn't return emails.

Please help me out as I'm still running the tearoom, and don't have time to email back and forth if you're not interested in buying. There's a waiting list and whoever pays first secured their item.

Hi! Last night we were absolutely inundated with messages of interest in which we'll spend the day getting through.
Many of you asking for the same things and as it's a first come first served some may be disappointed.
Remember we are not closed yet, still a working tearoom, so please don't come in to try to buy anything.
We are losing our jobs and I'm losing my dream so please be respectful of this.

So my lovelies, I'm going to be off tomorrow as it's my birthday but you will be in good hands with Claire if you pop in for a cuppa & sweet treat between 10am and 2pm.

In the event that the tearoom doesn't sell as it is we've compiled an inventory for all the people asking if I'd be selling items off.

Hi guys, thanks for your patience this week. My partner caught COVID in hospital so I stopped visiting but unfortunately had already caught it!
I know some people aren't isolating anymore but I think it's really important to keep everyone safe.

My lovely friends have been holding the fort for me until I'm back with a negative result, hopefully on Thursday.

Remember we're still here until 2nd September so if you've still got gift vouchers get yourself booked in for high tea or a caddy delivery.

Tomorrow we'll be open 10am till 2pm and I'll keep you updated.

Hi Everyone! Thanks so much for all your lovely wishes yesterday, it's quite an overwhelming time.

So, as promised I will fill you in on the finer details.
I'll be closing my doors at the end of the day Saturday 2nd September.

All bookings and gift vouchers will of course be honoured, so please could everyone get in touch to book in asap and avoid disappointment.

You can book in for traditional high tea, Beauty & the Beast themed, Charlie & W***y Wonka, or Alice in Wonderland.

Also we will be having our final (😢) psychic high tea this Friday 5th August, with the amazing Kirsty McGregor Burns! There's still a few tables left so please PM to book and make it an afternoon to remember!

IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT!

It is with a heavy heart that I have decided to close my tearoom on Shettleston Rd.
It has been an honour and a pleasure serving you over the past 3 years. From my home kitchen journey to small tearoom to large tearoom today!

You've allowed me to celebrate with you some amazing academic achievements, birthdays, baby showers and hen parties! I can't thank you enough for your support throughout. The company has been a port in a storm for me personally.🫶

I'm proud to have kept my standards high and prices low throughout COVID and this economic crisis, but personal and family health matters have just left me with no other option.

Please don't panic about bookings/gift vouchers, they will be honoured. More information about closing dates/the future will be posted tomorrow........

He's out of surgery!
He's groggy and sleeping but the relief is real!

My better half is in major surgery as we speak and I needed to be here for him waking up.

I went over on my knee on Saturday and now my partner Alan is in hospital for surgery! We are a pair!

My wonderful staff are keeping the shop open with fresh cakes still being made, but please bear with us with deliveries etc.

Thanks for all your support and understanding till we're both back up on our feet and fighting fit.
