We're looking forward to the release of this new series: HEART MATTERS.

We believe it's time to receive the Lord's blessings. God is not withholding His blessings, it's that we are not receiving them because there's something within us that prevents us being aligned to receive. So how do we get aligned to receive His blessings? By addressing the heart from a spiritual perspective through the effective application of God's Word. This is what we're teaching through the series of HEART MATTERS for if your heart is not right, but we don't know how to get it right, we suffer.
WITHOUT KNOWLEDGE THE PEOPLE SUFFER
The knowledge we're sharing is what we've been studying for the past 24 years and effectively applying to become more Christ-like and discipled. This is what has freed us up to be more effective as we've been prayerfully realigned to receive.

SMELLY GRASS
Just like leaves, grass may look pretty around a tree, but, it collects moisture, decreases drainage, attracts spiders, snakes, scorpions, bacteria and mold.
The tufts of grass growing out from the tree were everywhere when we first took on the property but between the chickens and us pulling them out of the ground, we have nicely compacted forest floor that drains very well and there's no smell.

The GARDEN of POTATOES
Working on the garden area today.
The first pic is the area I've worked for 4 weeks every 3rd day.
It's a beautiful walk in the woods now but was far deeper in leaves than the 2nd pic, the garden area.
I'm concerned that if I leave the garden area as it is, it'll get blighty and we grow mainly potatoes there.

We've cleared around 100 trees to open up the trails with another 100 tagged to go this year.
It'll really help with leaf clearing and get some much needed light into areas that are far too overgrown.

IDA THE QUIRKY CLUCKER
This story is about a chicken called Ida, we'll sort of.
Ida was different. She looked different and behaved differently.
Her comb was the smallest comb I've ever seen, it was like a short, tight mohawk. Her legs and beak were the brightest yellow and she had black tips on her feathers that contrasted her beautiful auburn and gold plumage.
Our other hens we're obviously related, she was definitely not related to them.
When 'the 4' took off she'd wait to see what was best for her and then go in her direction and then 'the 4' would come back to where she was.
I loved watching her take her time, do her thing and simply enjoy her day.
When I noticed she wasn't carrying her tail well I found out to make some electrolyte solution which she loved and benefited from immediately. All was well until at the end of the cold weather, she just didn't want to eat much then I noticed her comb was pale, so we added some herbs, diotomacios earth and apple cider vinegar to their diet but ida just didn't improve. As I cradled her she snuggled down and allowed me to clean her up. The other hens watched for a bit and went on about their day, our dog sat beside me and occasionally nudged her and whimpered a little, look at me, then her and went back to sitting beside me.
As the day came to an end and I'd prayed and done all I knew to, I placed her in a corner isolated from the others and let her be. The next day our dog went to her and let out a long cry for Ida the Quirky Clucker had fallen asleep, but this story is sort of about Ida.
What do we treasure? Who are we passionate for? Where is our heart?
It's important to answer these questions because it's where your heart is that we end up going.
