It's very exciting! I was included in the credits for the recent documentary airing of PBS Masterpiece Theater “Hopper: An American love story”. I took the Director and film crew to Truro locations where the Hopper’s lived and worked. I was allotted one hour in the waning light of an October afternoon. They chose to include film footage of the South Truro cottage where they lived prior to building their studio. They also showed a neighborhood in North Truro where he painted “Cottages at North Truro 1938”. The buildings are easily identifiable even more than 80 years later.

The children at Truro (MA) Central School have created a giant set of wings with their artwork on individual feathers. It's brilliant.

Saw four Truro paintings by Edward Hopper at the Harvard Arts Museum on Friday, including the Schumann House, the Jenness House, Highland Light and the Cold Storage Plant. I have a number of favorite Edward Hopper paintings. "Hills, South Truro" 1930 is one of them. It was painted, I think, from the back yard of the South Truro Meeting House overlooking Cape Cod Bay. From this perspective, Hopper was looking at a dune he and Josephine would eventually buy for their Studio built in 1934.

HopperAfterDinner.com is live and taking bookings. I've had my first residential presentation in Provincetown for 12 people last week. The host had invited folks from three other families to join his own. I really enjoyed making the presentation and meeting the guests. And so it has begun. There will be occasional ads in the excellent Provincetown Independent weekly. I have new business cards as you can see in the photos. I learn new things about Edward and Josephine Hopper all the time. Here is a painting "Spindly Locusts" 1936, that Edward did on Pamet Point Road in Wellfleet. I only found this recently. I think it is a rather spectacular landscape. I haven't pinpointed the location yet, but Pamet Point Road is only one mile long, so I'm going to keep looking.
