The merry & bright tag in this dried floral wreath from HomeGoods did not work for my space, so I modified it. I found an old Christmas card with a scene I liked a lot more, cut it to size, glued it to the original card & re-attached it... Took me two tries to get the hole punched in the right spot, but I can barely see the miss! I like this version a lot better!

Dream...Design...Done!

It all started in 2016 when my youngest daughter announced her engagement... I suddenly found myself researching venues, scouting out bargains, coordinating 1,001 + details, and planning a dream weekend for Miss (now Mrs.) Gracie and hubby-to-be, while staying within the budget set by Dad (also known as my Darling Hubby, or DH) many years ago.

This successful celebration was soon to be followed by another, when our oldest daughter Miss (now Mrs.) Brit became engaged mere weeks before wedding 1.0 was in the bag!

Naturally, both daughters had completely different styles, so once again I plunged headfirst into researching locations, catering and flowers, dreaming up new, original decor and finalizing 1,002 + details to create another “Best Day Ever” weekend while keeping the budget intact!

When both occasions were over, I realized how much I enjoyed the challenge of crafting a unique design, blending each couples’ style while pulling off a well-planned event. A creative side I’d forgotten reawakened, the one which previously organized tennis tournaments and team gatherings, holiday and family parties and many work functions...
