Firstly, kitche miigwetch Kitche Manitou for everything in this life. Thank you for putting it in the hearts of people to come together in that good way this weekend. Secondly, thank you to everyone who visited, supported, mentioned, helped, watched, or otherwise contributed to the 5th Annual Odenong Powwow. I am overwhelmed by the kindness and love the community has shared with me and each other. It truly is a community effort that makes it possible and I am humbled by how the community, Native and non-Native alike, came together this weekend to make it an enjoyable event for so many. To anyone who didn't have a good time, I hope your next time at a powwow is good and washes away any bad feelings you may have encountered at our powwow. -Justin Beatty, founder and powwow committee chairperson of the Odenong Powwow.
