It's been a minute since I have said hello :)
For those new to the page, my name is Luke Carter and I'm the owner/lead videographer & editor. I have been filming weddings now for over 3 years and have been blessed to capture over 150 stories of love.
My goal when I first started in wedding videography was to flip the typical perception of a cheesy wedding video on its head. I wanted to create rich stories packed with emotion that flow from one scene to the next. I wanted people to feel.
I give edited extended footage as well, but I knew if I did it right: the highlight film was the thing couples would come back to watch again and again.
This year we have travelled to some incredible venues, met so many delightful couples, and I have expanded my second shooter team - who have become great friends of mine.

For our couples who have been eyeing our work for some time, please reach out to us sooner than later as our dates are going quickly. I hate turning away couples who are super excited to book with us!
I have 39 weddings booked for 2022 and 18 booked so far for 2023. We are also now accepting bookings for 2024.
We will be capping our bookings at 42 each year to maintain some work life balance. I never dreamed of this explosion of business growth so quickly and I am so grateful for the continued support.

Many couples when picking vendors for their wedding day may wonder, do I really need a videographer? My photographer will capture my entire day. Is it really worth that extra expense?
And itโs certainly true that photographers are extremely valuable and do a beautiful art, creating something to hang on a wall and look at again years in the future. So what is a wedding videographer actually for? Maybe youโve been dating for 5, 6, 7 years. You have a story together, a story with your family and friends as well. Your wedding day is that one wonderful opportunity where everything in your life led to a single moment and you get to share that with everyone.
We create a film which tells that story, expresses who you are and shows personality and love. It brings your wedding day memories to life in a way that photos can not. Emotions and feelings really shine on video. Our films contain speech throughout, and average 5 minutes in length for a reason. Our films capture the emotion, the heartfelt words said and put this into a perfect length that flows from scene to scene which everyone will watch all of the way through.
But the highlight film is not the only thing we deliver! Our extended footage provided captures all of those moments in a more extended form. We include the full reception speeches as a specific video edit, with professional synced sound and cutting between different camera angles. We include the full vows with professional audio switching between angles of the bride and groom. And we include all raw footage as a video that is pieced together, not hundreds of files in a folder to click through.
You will never hear just a singer's voice in the background in our films, the voices of your loved ones are so much more important. We believe your video is so much more than a montage of moving images. It's your story, your personality, your love, your faith, your family, your friends, your life. We just share it.

I graduated in Marketing and later got into making commercials. I booked a few weddings off of my commercial work and realized weddings are really fun! Having an entire day to hang out with super fun couples and create a really cool love story for them is so fulfilling and unique. I never get tired of it.

I want to say the groom's reaction to the bride, but I actually don't get to watch this until I see the footage later! I film the bride and have my second shooter film the groom. I really enjoy watching the first dances, I think that's such a special moment. Surprise choreographed dances are really fun to watch too!

The internet is a great resource, YouTube has just about everything these days. I've also invested in a few online courses. I'm pretty well self taught and teach my second shooters as I learn new things. I am a big proponent of continuously learning and improving and continue practicing, even now.
