YOUR BLACKLIST HEADLINER:
DASA is a local Ottawa DJ/producer and Basscamp resident DJ who got started with music playing bass in progressive metal bands. Growing up in the 80s, his influences draw from the sounds of classic video game soundtracks, punk, grunge and metal. With a focus on Deep, Progressive and Techno genres, he aims to bring people together, make them feel and make them move.

Warming up the BLACKLIST decks 7-8 is !!!

ALAMUSIC started to gain exposure through livestreams during the lockdowns supporting local legends Return of the Jaded, Sokotta, Anthony Cole, DASA and Tone A. Her infectious enthusiasm behind the decks and her unabashed love of house, tech house and disco grooves turned quite a few heads over the past year.

In December 2021, she was selected as one of five winners in a DJ mix contest hosted by Toronto's iconic afterhours club—The Comfort Zone—and subsequently made her Comfort Zone debut in March 2022.

When she's on the decks, you can expect dark, minimal sounds with the occasional chirp of vocals. Pachelle is passionate about supporting underrepresented groups in electronic music, and is excited to reach more ears as live events make a comebback.

Daniel Shrum, also known as Sokotta is a house and techno music producer based in Ottawa. His raw passion for electronic music began in 2013 when he first heard the genre and fell in love with everything electronic.

Sokotta’s distinctive sound is all about the underground. His musical ethos fluctuates between groovy house and bass beats, and a flare for female vocals. He has an affinity for ‘mature wubs’, a term he proudly coined.

Sokotta spends all of his free time in the studio, refining his vintage underground bass-y sound, and playing his music in Canadian clubs across Eastern Canada. his two most recent releases were signed by Dead Rabbit Records, and had a very positive reception in the dance community.
