We love celebration - so we made a business of it.
Think back for a minute to your favorite wedding. You know the one - you were almost weepy eyed from start to finish because everything felt meaningful, beautiful, and intentional. There was an energy in the air that brought everyone together. When the music started, the dance floor felt alive. At the end of the night, you left feeling full. (And not just from the amazing food!)
We live for these moments. It’s why we started Modern Aisles. We bring our super power of detail-oriented, joyful event planning so that every couple gets the ultimate gift: presence.
Modern Aisles began as many small businesses do: one thing led to another and the pieces lined up to create something special. Elyse, one of our co-founders, helped coordinate her first wedding on the home of two dear friends, and the day was perfect. After the wedding, the couple said their greatest gift was that because Elyse managed the details, they were able to actually be present to the celebration and their community who had gathered.
In the years that followed, Elyse coordinated other friends’ weddings until finally enough people said, “it’s time you make a business of this.” From 2015-2019, Elyse managed Events by Elyse and offered day-of coordination and partial planning, relishing in the joy of making couples’ wedding celebrations as seamless and joyful as possible.
